Workshop Labourer in St Helens, North West

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturer of steel infrastructure products in their search for a Workshop Labourer to work in St Helens.

Job Details:

• Pay: £13.50 per hour
• Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm, with a 2:30pm finish on Fridays
• Duration: Temporary (Minimum of 4 weeks, with the potential to be extended due to increasing orders)

Job Role: As a Workshop Labourer, you will support the production team within a busy manufacturing environment carrying out a variety of manual workshop duties. The Workshop Labourer will use hand tools to complete manual tasks, manually handle materials, attach locking systems to fabricated steel using tape and manually paint steel using a paintbrush. This is an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Labourer seeking temporary work with an established engineering manufacturer.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Capable of completing manual handling and physically demanding tasks
• Able to confidently use hand tools
• Good attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
