Training Manager in St Asaph

Salary: £33,600 per annum + benefits

At Beluga, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Training Manager to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about developing care professionals and delivering high-quality training that supports outstanding care in the community.
Based at our St Asaph office, the role will involve regular travel to our offices across North West England and Wales. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience delivering the Wales Manual Handling Passport Scheme training.
About the Role
As Training Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our care staff receive engaging, compliant, and effective training that meets current CIW requirements and supports excellent standards of care.
You will deliver both practical and theory-based training to new and existing care staff, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to provide exceptional support to people in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver induction and refresher training for new and existing care staff
- Deliver Wales Manual Handling Passport Scheme training
- Ensure all training remains compliant with CIW requirements and best practice
- Work closely with the Compliance team to maintain high training standards
- Support care teams with additional training needs as required
- Develop and adapt training methods to suit different learning styles
- Deliver both classroom-based and practical training sessions
- Identify and source additional learning and development opportunities
Essential Skills & Experience
- Completed Wales Manual Handling Passport Train the Trainer qualification
- Experience delivering Wales Manual Handling Passport Scheme training
- Strong understanding of CIW requirements
- Previous experience in a training role
- Experience within Health & Social Care
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Willingness to travel across multiple branch locations
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
Desirable
- Level 3 or Level 5 NVQ in Health & Social Care
- Previous experience within domiciliary/home care
