The Role : As a Trainee Maths Teacher, you will :

  • Train to become a qualified secondary Mathematics teacher
  • Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in developing their mathematical understanding
  • Work closely with experienced teachers and mentors to develop outstanding classroom practice
  • Deliver intervention sessions and targeted support to help students reach their full potential
  • Assist with lesson planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery
  • Build the confidence, skills, and expertise required to become an exceptional teacher
  • Progress through a structured training programme leading to Qualified Teacher Status

Who We're Looking For : Applications are welcomed from graduates who have :

  • A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and academic credentials (A-Levels, GCSE’s)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
  • Confidence, resilience, and a willingness to learn
  • The drive to build a successful and rewarding teaching career
  • Full Right to work in the UK

Previous school experience is advantageous but not essential.
