What you will do:
- Support theatre operations for both elective and emergency surgeries
- Prepare and manage surgical equipment and instruments
- Assist in maintaining sterile environments
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the broader hospital team
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Monitor patients under anaesthesia and assist with anaesthetic administration
- Document and record key observations on patient notes
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities
We are seeking individuals with an RGN or ODP qualification and valid NMC or HCPC registration. Candidates need a minimum of two years post-qualification experience in theatre settings, with proven scrub experience across multiple specialities. You must demonstrate an understanding of theatre protocols, show evidence of continued professional development, and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
