What you will do:
- Conduct regular home visits to provide ongoing support and monitoring for foster carers
- Lead annual reviews and assessments to ensure compliance and quality standards are met
- Deliver trauma-informed training to foster carers to enhance their skills and capabilities
- Act as a vital mentor and advocate for foster carers, linking them with Shropshire Council children’s services
- Ensure all compliance is in place in accordance with fostering regulations and NMS standards
- Drive across the county to visit families and support them in their fostering journey
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with proven experience in a fostering team
- Willingness and ability to drive to locations across the county of Shropshire
