Stock Condition Surveyor Opportunity in Loughborough

This is an exciting opportunity for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join Charnwood Borough Council in Loughborough on a 12-month contract. With a competitive hourly rate of £32.84 through an Umbrella company or £25.00 PAYE, you will be working full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Your work will support the effective delivery of the asset management strategy, collecting and analysing stock condition data to aid in short- and long-term planning.

What you will do:
- Conduct a variety of surveys on properties including residential, commercial, and communal spaces.
- Execute stock condition and HHSRS surveys, recording results accurately and punctually.
- Deliver survey programs to agreed targets and report progress to leadership.
- Develop work schedules and manage their implementation.
- Prepare and monitor work programmes informed by survey data.
- Support teams in preparing for repairs, renewals, and improvements.
- Commission and oversee specialist surveys, recording and acting on findings.
- Analyse options and produce reports for properties with significant defects.
- Assist with asset management software development and processes.
- Design and implement surveys and assessments.
- Identify and report defects or issues affecting the properties.
- Provide technical advice to various internal and external teams.
- Engage in stakeholder consultations and attend meetings.
- Support repairs and asset teams with surveys as required, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergencies when necessary.
- Manage information securely and report any breaches.
