Our client runs a number of fresh food gastro pubs across Kent and Sussex. The kitchens focus on seasonal menus, local producers and dishes cooked from scratch. Guests come for relaxed meals, roasts, pizzas and consistent pub favourites. You work in a team that values quality ingredients and teamwork in the kitchen.
About the role
- You support the Head Chef and Senior Sous
- You run sections during service
- You maintain high food and hygiene standards
- You help train junior team members
- You assist with prep, ordering and stock control
The offer
- Salary £30,000
- Tronc £5,000 to £6,000
- Strong training and development
- Progression to Senior Sous
Your background
- Experience as a Sous or strong Chef de Partie ready to move up
- Fresh food background
- Confident during busy services
- Reliable and organised
