Business Development Manager – Commercial Kitchen Equipment Supplier – National - £40-50K + Benefits

My client is a leading commercial kitchen equipment supplier who have a brilliant reputation.

They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth across their commercial kitchen equipment portfolio, developing new business opportunities while building strong relationships with consultants, contractors, dealers, and end users within the hospitality and foodservice sectors. You will be responsible for identifying and converting new leads, managing key accounts, and promoting their range of commercial kitchen equipment and solutions to meet customer needs and project requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within hospitality, catering, and foodservice markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, distributors, and end users
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to order and handover
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of project and repeat business
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to customers and stakeholders
  • Work closely with internal teams including design, projects, and aftersales
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Meet or exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs

The Business Development Manager Candidate:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within Catering Equipment, Foodservice or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality or foodservice industry; existing network of chefs/ kitchens is a bonus.
  • Confident relationship builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities
  • Full UK driving licence and happy to travel across the UK when required.
