What you will do
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Duty Team to deliver high-quality safeguarding and child protection services.
- Referral Management: Oversee screening, allocation, and management of incoming referrals.
- Case Oversight: Provide strong decision-making in complex and high-risk cases.
- Safeguarding Practice: Ensure timely and effective child protection enquiries and assessments.
- Supervision: Offer reflective supervision, coaching, and professional support to practitioners.
- Quality Assurance: Promote high standards in assessment, planning, and decision-making processes.
- Partnership Working: Develop strong working relationships with schools, police, health services, and partner agencies.
- Resource Management: Manage team resources effectively, including authorising services and expenditure where required.
