What you will do:

  • Conduct risk assessments and liaise effectively with partner agencies within the MASH framework, ensuring that the needs of children and families are met with urgency and dedication.
  • Undertake complex cases and manage them from beginning to end, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all legal and statutory requirements are adhered to.
  • Participate in meetings, case conferences, and workshops, contributing your expertise and working collaboratively with other professionals to deliver optimal outcomes for families and children.
  • Provide support and guidance to families, addressing challenges by applying your in-depth knowledge and skills to improve their circumstances and wellbeing.
  • Remain up-to-date with legislation and policies affecting social work practice, continuously improving your skills and knowledge base.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Possession of a degree or equivalent qualification in social work, and must have Social Work England registration.
  • Significant frontline experience in UK social services as a qualified Social Worker is essential, demonstrating your ability to manage complex cases and work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
