What you will do:

  • Act as a Care Co-Ordinator to manage and complete day-to-day and planned interventions as allocated from the red zone.
  • Respond to requests that come via phone and email or as directed by senior team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Utilise your community experience, adept risk management, and excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding mental health support.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Contribute to the positive outcomes of the Early Intervention Psychosis team, supporting patients on their recovery journeys.

Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:

  • Hold a Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
  • Demonstrate experience working as a Mental Health Nurse in a community setting.
  • Maintain up-to-date NMC Registration.
