What you will do:
- Conduct thorough assessments of prospective foster carers and present these evaluations to the panel.
- Support and supervise foster carers to ensure the highest standard of care for children and young people.
- Work closely with children and families to provide professional guidance and interventions.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's welfare.
- Maintain case records, ensuring that all information is accurately and promptly updated.
- Engage in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
- Experience working within a fostering service and completing fostering assessments for presentation at panels.
- Based in Scarborough, with an initial 6-month placement offered.
