Social Work Sessional Form F Assessor - Fostering in Powys, UK, earning £2500 Per Assignment. What you will do:
- Undertake comprehensive Form F assessments of prospective foster carers in Wales.
- Organize and conduct assessment visits with applicants, household members, and other relevant individuals.
- Collect and analyze information from interviews, references, and statutory checks.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping in line with service requirements.
- Communicate regularly with the Fostering Service, addressing any emerging issues or concerns.
- Participate in supervision and formal midpoint reviews to discuss progress and areas for further exploration.
- Produce a clear, evidence-based Form F report with a professional recommendation on suitability to foster.
- Address quality assurance feedback promptly and make necessary amendments.
- Present assessments at the Fostering Panel, responding to queries from panel members.
- Escalate safeguarding concerns or significant issues identified during assessments immediately.

Essential Requirements:
- Hold a recognised Social Work qualification, registered with Social Care Wales.
- Demonstrated experience in children's social care and complex assessments, with Form F experience desirable.
- Strong understanding of fostering, safeguarding, trauma, and attachment.
- Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed timescales.
