Social Worker – Early Help Team
Location: Alloa
Contract: Temporary, Full-time
Pay: £40 – £42 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid working available | Option for flexible arrangements
Seven Resourcing are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join a dedicated Early Help Team in Alloa. This is a full-time temporary position offering a competitive hourly rate and flexible working options, supporting early intervention and preventative work with children and families.
In this role, you will work proactively with children, young people, and families at an early stage of need, helping to prevent escalation into statutory services by providing targeted support, assessments, and coordinated interventions.
Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker:
- Deliver high standards of social work practice within early help and preventative services
- Undertake assessments of need and develop support plans in line with relevant frameworks
- Work collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency professionals
- Identify risks and needs at an early stage and implement appropriate intervention
- Manage a varied caseload, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping
- Complete home visits, assessments, and reports as required
- Support family engagement and promote positive outcomes through strengths-based practice
- Contribute to multi-agency meetings and early help planning processes
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW)
- Registered with the SSSC
- Completed ASYE (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualifying experience within children and families or early help services
- Experience in early intervention, safeguarding, or preventative work
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work across Alloa as required
