What you will do:

- Assess the needs and risks of individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed effectively.
- Deliver high-quality social work interventions, support planning, and advocacy services tailored to service users’ needs.
- Work closely with victims and survivors to develop safety plans and promote emotional wellbeing and resilience.
- Undertake statutory assessments, case management, and reviews in line with legislation, policies, and professional standards.
- Liaise with partner agencies including police, housing services, health professionals, schools, and voluntary organisations to coordinate effective support.
- Participate in multi-agency risk assessment conferences (MARAC) and safeguarding meetings where required.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records and reports.
- Support children and families impacted by domestic abuse, ensuring the voice of the child is central to interventions.
- Provide guidance and signposting to relevant community resources, housing options, legal support, and specialist services.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
- Contribute to service development initiatives and continuous improvement within the Reach Out programme.
- Ensure compliance with relevant UK legislation, including safeguarding and domestic abuse frameworks.
