What you will do:

Support and manage a caseload of children and young people in care, ensuring their safety and wellbeing are prioritised
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and review progress to meet the unique needs of each child
Collaborate with multi-agency teams, including health professionals, educational staff, and legal personnel, to coordinate care and ensure all services are aligned
Facilitate and support children and young people in expressing their views and wishes, advocating for their best interests at all times
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, providing reports and evidence to assist in legal proceedings where necessary

Requirements:

A degree or equivalent qualification in social work
Current registration with Social Work England
Significant frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker, particularly in working directly with children in care
Understanding of legislation and policies impacting children in care
