What you will do:
- Lead on Child Protection cases, including facilitating strategy discussions, conducting Section 47 enquiries, and organising core group meetings.
- Manage court proceedings effectively, crafting high-quality statements and detailed care plans.
- Actively participate in Child Protection conferences, CIN meetings, and engage in multi-agency safeguarding efforts.
- Work directly with children and families affected by extra-familial harm, tackling contextual safeguarding issues and CSE.
- Maintain precise and timely case records using the Mosaic system.
- Perform thorough risk assessments and develop proactive safety plans with families and professionals.
- Collaborate closely with partner agencies to provide holistic, child-centred interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and demonstrate strong, confident decision-making skills.
- Exhibit excellent report writing skills, especially for court-related documentation.
- Manage time efficiently to handle competing priorities with ease.
- Be proficient in using Mosaic or demonstrate the ability to swiftly learn new systems.
- Utilise substantial experience in Child Protection and court processes to make informed decisions.
- Adopt a meticulous, professional approach and uphold a robust work ethic in all tasks.
