What you will do:
- Conduct assessments and reviews in accordance with the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) framework.
- Ensure that all assessments are compliant with legal standards and accurately reflect the best interests of the individuals you support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care and support plans.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on DOLS processes and related legislation.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date records of all assessments and decisions made.
- Engage with diverse communities to promote understanding and adherence to DOLS requirements.
In this role, you will need a Best Interests Assessor qualification with up-to-date Annual BIA refresher training. Your ability to check references, identify gaps in employment history, and hold relevant qualifications as per the job description and person specification are crucial.
