What you will do:

Lead and manage a team handling initial contacts, referrals, and safeguarding decisions.
Oversee screening, triage, and threshold decisions, ensuring appropriate case progression.
Provide management oversight and quality assurance of assessments.
Chair and contribute to strategy discussions and multi-agency safeguarding processes.
Supervise staff through performance management, reflective supervision, and development.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)
Evidence of continued professional development
Management or leadership qualification (desirable)

Registration & Compliance:

Registered with Social Work England
Strong knowledge of Children Act 1989 and 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and MASH/IFD processes
Enhanced DBS clearance
