What you will do:
- Provide independent, consistent child protection services, advising and consulting on safeguarding matters.
- Chair and manage child protection conferences and complex strategy meetings regarding allegations against professionals/carers.
- Offer child protection advice and consultations to key multi-agency partners.
- Contribute to the continuing development of Children’s Services within an equalities framework.
- Work with key multi-agency networks to enhance safeguarding practices.
- Support the quality assurance functions within the service.
- Promote effective multi-agency participation ensuring improved outcomes for children.
