What you will do:
- Lead and support a team to ensure effective and efficient service delivery within the Referral and Assessment Team.
- Oversee and manage complex cases, ensuring that assessments and interventions are timely and of high quality.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to streamline service provision and drive positive outcomes for children and families.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, delivering professional development opportunities.
- Uphold the standards of practice set by Social Work England, ensuring compliance and best practice across the team.

Requirements for the Assistant Team Manager role include:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
- Active registration with Social Work England.
- Recent managerial experience in a relevant capacity such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
- Demonstrable frontline experience in Children's Services in a leadership role.
