A leading IT solutions provider in South Yorkshire is seeking a Smart Technology Support Apprentice to join their growing team.

KEY DUTIES –

· Assist with the installation, setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of smart technology solutions, including IoT devices, network equipment, tablets, sensors, hubs, and connected systems.

· Provide first-line technical support by responding to customer queries, diagnosing issues, and resolving problems where possible, escalating more complex cases to senior team members.

· Support customers with software updates, device connectivity, system integrations, and the effective use of smart technology platforms, including security, energy management, and automation systems.

· Help maintain accurate records of technology assets, service activities, and technical documentation.

· Work closely with experienced engineers to develop technical knowledge and practical skills across a variety of smart technology environments.

· Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring support requests are handled efficiently and professionally.

· Adhere to company procedures and health and safety requirements when working on customer sites.
