Skilled Operative – Long-Term Civil Engineering Project
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, LA13
Rate: £17.35 per hour (CIS) + £4 per hour extra for people who live over an hour from site towards Lodge
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking an Skilled Operative to join a long-term civil engineering project in Barrow-in-Furness.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating Dumper and Roller machinery
- Carrying out kerb laying works
- Assisting with road construction and installation activities
- Supporting general civil engineering operations
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site
Requirements
- SWQR Card – preferred not essential
- Valid CPCS – Ride on Roller and Forward Tipping Dumper
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
