What you will do:

• Support and safeguard vulnerable individuals and their families through innovative and effective social work practices.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to assess risks and develop safeguarding plans tailored to each individual's needs.
• Provide leadership and guidance within the Safeguarding Team, mentoring junior social workers and ensuring adherence to best practices and statutory obligations.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive case records, contributing to reports and assessments as required.
• Act as a champion for the rights and wellbeing of individuals under your care, ensuring their voices are heard and their choices respected.
