The role is within a very busy long-term social work team based in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. This position is perfect for those with experience in Child Protection processes and Court work living in and around Beverley. Driving is essential and a full driving licence is required as the area covers a large rural spread. You will work in a purpose-built family hub that is light, spacious, and equipped with meeting rooms to better support families.

What you will do:

• Handle cases involving children and young people who are subject to Child Protection Plans Care Proceedings and Looked After children or involved in Private Law Proceedings.
• Provide expert support to families ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of children across a large and diverse rural area.
• Attend court proceedings preparing and presenting your findings with professionalism and insight.
• Build strong relationships with children young people and families to advocate effectively on their behalf.
• Collaborate with family help colleagues within the co-located family hub to offer comprehensive support to the families you work with.
