Senior Social Work Practitioner – Adult Locality Team
Location: Hereford, Plough Lane
Contract: Locum, 3 months
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Pay: £32.67 per hour (Umbrella)

Herefordshire Council has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Work Practitioner to join the Adult Locality Team within Adult Social Care. This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner who is confident making defensible, evidence-based decisions and enjoys working with a high level of professional autonomy, supported by a strong and collaborative workforce.

What you will do:
Manage a small but complex caseload, ensuring high-quality, person-centred practice.
Make informed, defensible decisions to improve outcomes and quality of life for adults in the locality.
Work closely with management to support service development and performance improvement.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and professional support to less experienced social workers.
Act as a key point of coordination between adults in receipt of care and partner services to ensure seamless support.
