Senior Process Engineer in Mozambique
UK working eligibility only.
On behalf of a global operator we are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to be based in Mozambique for a major FLNG projects. This is a residential expatriate position
Responsibilities
- Review project deliverables, including basic engineering, FEED, Pre-PHA, safety cases and detailed engineering reviews, and support the projects department in the technical evaluation of bidders.
- Represent process engineering for FAT & SAT.
- Support the transition from commissioning to operations.
- Monitor key process parameters and recommend actions for deviations.
- Monitor day-to-day plant production and provide timely process support to plant operations to secure operational integrity and maximize production.
- Monitor plant and equipment performance to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Implement the process performance testing schedule and support any required process simulations.
- Prepare process performance tests: discuss test procedures with plant operators, collect performance data, and prepare performance test reports.
- Actively participate in HAZOP/safety reviews of plant operations and design modification MOCs.
- Perform on-site inspections of material/chemical degradation, supervise and inspect the condition of mole sieve beds during replacement, and perform quality control for loading and unloading of mole sieve beds and activated carbon.
- Support engineering and operation work instructions; prepare and issue procedures such as Hazard Operability Studies and molecular sieve replacement procedures.
- Maintain process simulation and design software.
QualificatiOns
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Certification as an Associate Engineer or Fundamental Engineer.
- Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong background in project and interface management.
- Relevant experience in APCI LNG operations.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in APCI LNG operations.
- Technical support experience in maintenance and production.
- North Sea experience
