Senior Health Organiser – £38,890–£40,381 (pro rata, depending on experience) - London SE17 1QR

At Pembroke House, you will lead a pioneering approach to community-led health, helping the Walworth Living Room become a recognised centre for innovation and local impact.
The role
This is an opportunity to design and grow a programme that brings people together to improve health in practical, meaningful ways.
You will work with local organisations, residents and NHS partners to create activities that strengthen relationships, reduce isolation and build collective power. Your work will help shape how health is understood and delivered in Walworth and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a programme of activities that support wellbeing and strengthen community connections
- Form partnerships with local groups to deliver initiatives that reflect local needs
- Enable organisations to run high-quality sessions that reach and engage local people
- Develop relationships with NHS and public health teams to align community and clinical approaches
- Create clear plans and frameworks that show the impact of community-led health
- Support funding applications by evidencing outcomes and learning

The person
You will:
- Have experience building partnerships and delivering community-based programmes
- Understand health inequality and how it affects local communities
- Be confident managing multiple projects from planning through to delivery and evaluation
- Build strong relationships across community and health systems
- Communicate clearly, both in writing and in person
- A connection to Walworth or similar communities will help you succeed in this role.
- This role includes one Saturday session per month (approx. 5 hours), with time off in lieu provided.
