What you will do:
- Conduct audiometric tests to distinguish between cochlear and retro-cochlear hearing loss, using masking techniques appropriately.
- Perform diagnostic objective tests on patients, guided by senior team members.
- Undertake routine equipment checks to ensure optimal function, reporting any faults following established departmental procedures.
- Supervise and train junior staff in the diagnostic procedures implemented within the department.
Requirements:
- Registration with RCCP or HCPC as a Hearing Aid Dispenser is advantageous.
- Recent experience in audiology as a qualified Audiologist or Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser is vital, enhancing your ability to thrive in this role.
