Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic – Band 8a

An exciting opportunity is available for a Band 8a Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic to join the team at Westminster Surgery for maternity cover from 20th May through to 28th August. This full-time locum role offers an attractive hourly rate of £36.00 and the chance to work within a dynamic primary care setting in the heart of London.

Working hours are Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:30pm, with some flexibility around shift patterns, particularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What you will do:

• Deliver high-quality patient care as a Non-Medical Prescriber within a primary care setting.
• Manage acute primary care clinics within the GP surgery.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with minor illnesses and urgent care needs.
• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and wider multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and patient records.
• Support the smooth running of clinics and contribute to high standards of patient experience and safety.

Requirements:

• Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic qualification.
• Non-Medical Prescribing qualification essential.
• Experience working within primary care or GP practice settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
