What you will do:
Conduct health assessments, including pre-employment and fitness for work evaluations, to ensure employees are fit and ready for their roles.
Deliver comprehensive health surveillance programmes such as audiometry, spirometry, and vaccinations to maintain a healthy workforce.
Provide expert advice on work-related health issues and recommend appropriate workplace adjustments for employee safety and comfort.
Support managers and employees with absence management and return-to-work planning, facilitating smooth transitions and continuity of work.
Promote employee wellbeing through engaging health promotion initiatives that encourage a culture of health and wellness.
Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant clinical records, ensuring privacy and adherence to legal standards.
Who we are looking for:
A registered nurse (adult) who is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
While a qualification in Occupational Health Nursing (degree or diploma) is desirable, evidence of ongoing CPD is essential.
You should possess strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, along with knowledge of occupational health and workplace legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial, as is the capacity to manage caseloads independently and proactively.
Experience as an Occupational Health Nurse, delivering health surveillance, fitness for work assessments, and working with employers and multidisciplinary teams, is highly valued.
