• Building effective relationships with residents and their families, creating a warm and supportive environment
• Managing budgets, staffing, and day-to-day operations to maintain the smooth running of the home

Skills and experience essential to the role of Nursing Home Manager:

• Current NMC registration with an active PIN
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a care home or similar clinical setting
• Strong communication and team-leadership abilities
• Sound clinical judgement and confidence in decision-making
• Experience in operational planning, budget oversight, and service quality improvement
