Ongoing locum opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker in the Adults Safeguarding Team within Middlesbrough. With potential earnings of £203.90 daily, this role offers flexibility with Full Time and Part Time positions available.

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you'll become an integral part of our Access Safeguarding Team, supporting the community by managing safeguarding enquiries. Our team consists of a dynamic group including a Team Manager, two Principal Practitioners, six Social Workers, three Safeguarding Outreach Workers, and two Safeguarding Administrators. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive environment where safeguarding is truly everyone’s responsibility, guided by the principles of the Teeswide Safeguarding Adults Board.

What you will do:

• Lead safeguarding investigations ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

• Manage and respond to safeguarding enquiries, supporting vulnerable adults in Middlesbrough.

• Collaborate with team members, other professionals, and external agencies to deliver excellent safeguarding outcomes.

• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation as required by the team manager.

• Actively contribute to the team’s effectiveness by participating in meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualifying experience of working with safeguarding enquiries and leading investigations.
