Production Operative in Wigan, North West

KPI Recruiting is currently looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our client’s team based in Wigan.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

The successful candidates will assist with the day-to-day running of production operations, ensuring products are manufactured, checked and packed to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare production areas and ensure equipment is ready for operation.
• Feed raw ingredients or materials into machinery and operate processing or packaging equipment.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products, identifying and rejecting any defective items.
• Record production figures, quality checks, waste levels and pre-start checks accurately.
• Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
• Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Pick and pack finished products into boxes, ensuring they are ready for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.

What We Offer

• Competitive pay of £12.71 per hour.
• Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00–17:00.
