Picker And Packer in Congleton, North West

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Picker and Packer for our client based in Congleton.

As a Picker and Packer your working hours and days are:

• Monday- Friday
• 08:00- 16:00

The rate of pay as a Picker and Packer is:

• £12.71 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Picker and Packer are:

• Pick customer orders accurately using handheld scanning devices
• Pack products securely and correctly for dispatch
• Load, unload, move and store stock within the warehouse
• Handle and transport wallpaper, paste, decorating equipment, and related products
• Carry out stock checks and assist with inventory control when required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Follow all company procedures, health and safety regulations, and warehouse standards
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes
• Report damaged stock, equipment faults, or safety concerns to management

The ideal candidate for a Picker and Packer would require:

• Ability to perform manual handling duties throughout the working day
• Regular lifting and moving of items weighing up to 25kg
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and carry products for extended periods
• Previous warehouse, picking, packing or logistics experience (preferred)
• Experience using handheld scanners or willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work well individually or in a team environment
• Experience handling decorating supplies, wallpaper, paste or similar products
• Basic understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures

Working conditions as a Picker and Packer are:

• Warehouse based role
• May require overtime during busy periods
• PPE must be worn where required
