What you will do

Clinical Assessment: Assess patients following elective orthopaedic procedures and identify rehabilitation needs.
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalised physiotherapy treatment plans to support recovery and mobility.
Rehabilitation: Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation programmes to optimise patient outcomes and functional independence.
Multidisciplinary Working: Work collaboratively with orthopaedic consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and wider healthcare teams.
Patient Education: Provide advice, education, and guidance to patients regarding rehabilitation, exercise programmes, and recovery expectations.
Progress Monitoring: Review and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical outcomes.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with HCPC and organisational standards.
Professional Practice: Ensure all interventions are delivered in line with current best practice, clinical governance requirements, and professional guidelines.

Qualifications / Requirements

Physiotherapy Qualification: Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
Registration: Current HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
Orthopaedic Experience: Previous experience within orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, surgical, or rehabilitation services.
Assessment Skills: Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning capabilities.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while managing an independent caseload.
Clinical Knowledge: Sound understanding of orthopaedic rehabilitation principles and evidence-based practice.
