What you will do:
- Conduct home assessments and reviews for children requiring occupational therapy services.
- Evaluate and recommend specialist seating and other home equipment to support the needs of young clients.
- Assess the need for and make recommendations concerning major adaptations to improve home accessibility and functionality.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop and implement personalised intervention strategies.
- Ensure all practices are in line with professional standards and maintain the highest quality of care.
Requirements:
- Must be a registered practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- A valid driver's licence is required for this role to conduct home visits efficiently.
- Proven experience in assessing home adaptations and specialist equipment is essential.
