What you will do:
- Conduct daily phone calls to residents on the waiting list to ensure their safety, make them aware of their status, and provide reassurance.
- Assess residents' needs, measuring levels of risk and prescribing simple equipment where necessary.
- Uphold robust clinical reasoning and risk management skills within the role.
- Support any critical council issues as required on an ad hoc basis.
- Meet strict targets and report daily contacts to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Requirements of the Therapy Assistant:
- Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapy/Therapy Assistant is essential, with NHS experience being advantageous though not strictly necessary.
