Job Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Rehabilitation Team in Jersey on an ongoing full-time locum basis. Working primarily on the rehabilitation ward, you will act as the principal contact for OT assessment and intervention, while leading and mentoring a small team of three staff members. This role is ideal for professionals seeking both clinical and leadership challenges within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead OT contact for assessment and intervention on the rehabilitation ward

• Lead, manage and mentor a team of three staff members, fostering collaboration and professional growth

• Participate in service development initiatives to enhance therapeutic processes and patient outcomes

• Develop and implement patient-centred care plans to support optimal recovery and rehabilitation

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and therapeutic interventions

• Maintain accurate, thorough and compliant patient records and documentation

Person Specification
Essential

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist

• Significant experience in rehabilitation settings and staff management

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team

Desirable

• Full UK driving licence to support travel between care facilities
