What you will do:

  • Conduct thorough EHC needs assessments for children aged 0–19 and complete mainstream school assessments for those aged 5–19.
  • Administer both formal and informal assessments, tailoring your approach to suit individual needs and support a diverse range of developmental goals.
  • Write insightful and comprehensive reports, ensuring clear communication of findings and recommendations to families, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with a talented multidisciplinary team, sharing knowledge and strategies to optimise therapeutic outcomes for children.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Speech and Language Therapist with the HCPC.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Proven UK, NHS, or hospital experience in the field as an SLT.
  • Demonstrated expertise in undertaking EHC needs assessments and writing reports, with a particular focus on mainstream school assessments.
