What you will do:
- Conduct mobility assessments and design tailored exercise programmes to support patient improvement.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth patient transitions from hospital to home.
- Provide essential equipment, requiring expertise in manual handling.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a supportive team environment.
- Must be a car driver, as transporting necessary equipment is part of your role.
- Leverage your knowledge of conditions such as arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, dementia, MSK, COPD, orthopaedics, and falls, to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Hold a qualification in physiotherapy (Degree or equivalent).
- Possess recent UK experience in specialised physiotherapy.
- Be registered with the HCPC to practice as a physiotherapist in the UK.
- NHS experience is advantageous but not essential to excel in this role.
