What you will do:
- Assess and provide therapy for children and adolescents with mental health needs within a community setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to the individual needs of each service user.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
- Provide guidance and support to families and carers, enhancing their coping strategies through education and resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in line with NHS guidelines and professional standards.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Have recent experience in the UK working as an Occupational Therapist, ideally with exposure to the NHS environment.
- Be registered with the HCPC, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards and ongoing development.
