Job Description: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse - Older Adults CMHT - North Manchester - £26 Hourly - Ongoing
Join us in North Manchester as a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse within the Older Adults Community Mental Health Team, based at the renowned Hexagon Tower. This exciting opportunity involves earning £26 hourly with the potential for an ongoing contract. North Manchester offers a vibrant and supportive community, perfect for both full-time and part-time commitments. Core working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, with flexible options available to accommodate various schedules, including options like 8am-6pm for four days a week or other variations.

What you will do:
- Assess and manage the care of older adults with complex mental health needs within the community, fostering a person-centered approach.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans, liaising with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Provide expert advice and support to patients, their families, and caregivers, promoting mental well-being and recovery.
- Participate in and lead clinical meetings, case conferences, and reflective practice sessions to enhance service quality and outcomes.
- Support the team in delivering innovative solutions for community-based mental health challenges through continuous improvement and collaboration.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
- NMC Registration
