As an autonomous practitioner, you will work under the guidance of a Band 7 Occupational Therapist across diverse settings, from patients' homes to various community locations.

What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients who have experienced a stroke
- Develop and implement personalised rehabilitation plans aimed at promoting independence and achieving patients' full potential
- Collaborate with the Integrated Neurology team to deliver coordinated care
- Liaise with patients' families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Adapt therapeutic activities to diverse settings, whether in patients' homes or within community resources
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist, particularly within the NHS
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
