Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Much Wenlock, West Midlands

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Much Wenlock.

For the successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer our client is offering:

• Starting salary on offer is up to £45,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Thursday 8-5pm and Fridays 7am-4pm
• Permanent position
• Pension – Company Pension or Auto enrolment
• Free onsite parking

The role – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Taking ownership of day to day maintenance activities across Production
• Conducting Mechanical/Electrical fault finding, repairs & preventative maintenance
• Maintain a wide variety of equipment to include Production Lines, Blending equipment, Pumps, Conveyors, Pneumatic systems etc
• Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns ensuring minimum downtime
• Assist with PLC fault finding
• Working alongside external Automation providers
• Continuous improvement
• Manage engineering spare parts inventory
• Sourcing & ordering parts/consumables
• Lead minor engineering projects from start to finish
• Providing guidance to Operators/Production where required

What our client is looking for in a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• You will hold one of the following in Electrical Engineering Level 2 or Level 3 or 17th/18th edition or HNC
• Happy to work indoors / outdoors - The client has outbuildings where Maintenance work will be required
• Experienced in Planned Preventative Maintenance
• PLC experience 
• Experience fault finding with electrical systems, motors, sensors, contactors
• Able to read Electrical schematics
