The Role
Successful candidates will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching opportunities available for suitably experienced applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Support students in developing strong numeracy, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and effective feedback
- Differentiate lessons to support students of varying abilities and learning needs
- Prepare students for internal assessments and GCSE examinations
- Maintain positive classroom environments with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and school leaders to maximise student outcomes
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve QTS
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Passion for Maths and education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
- Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative department culture
