Flourish Medical is recruiting a Locum Associate Dentist to join Newport Dental Practice, a well-established mixed NHS and Private dental practice offering a supportive team environment, flexible working arrangements, and an immediate start opportunity.
This locum opportunity is available for 1–3 days per week, making it ideal for an Associate Dentist seeking flexible work with a guaranteed day rate and the potential for ongoing bookings.
The Role – Locum Associate Dentist
• Locum position with immediate start available
• 1–3 days per week
• Flexible working days available
• Practice hours 9:00am – 5:00pm
• £500 day rate
• Mixed NHS and Private patient list
• Supportive and experienced clinical team
• Well-established and busy practice
• Ongoing locum opportunity available
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality NHS and private dental treatments
• Provide excellent patient care and communication
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
• Manage a varied patient list efficiently and professionally
• Work collaboratively with dental nurses and the wider practice team
• Adhere to GDC, CQC, NHS and clinical governance standards
• Ensure high standards of infection control and patient safety at all times
Requirements – Locum Associate Dentist
• Fully qualified and GDC-registered Dentist
• Active NHS performer number
• Proven UK dental experience essential
• Valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Confident working within a mixed NHS and Private practice
• Professional, patient-focused, and reliable approach
• Ability to start as soon as possible preferred
