Locum Dental Nurse in Milton Keynes, South East

Flourish Medical is currently recruiting experienced Locum Dental Nurses to support a range of friendly, well-established dental practices across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, including Bletchley, Newport Pagnell, Leighton Buzzard, Buckingham, and Stony Stratford.

Please note: Candidates requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible. UK dental nursing experience is essential, and all applicants must be fully qualified and registered with the GDC.

• £18 per hour competitive locum rate – equates to £33,696 per annum based on 36 hours

Required Skills & Experience for this Locum Dental Nurse:

• Be a fully qualified Dental Nurse with active GDC registration
• Have recent UK dental nursing experience
• Confident using dental software systems (e.g. SOE, R4 or similar)
• Able to work chairside confidently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong understanding of infection control, decontamination, and CQC standards
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS and valid indemnity insurance

As a Locum Dental Nurse, your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting dentists chairside during a variety of treatments
• Preparing and setting up treatment rooms with fully sterilised instruments
• Maintaining strict infection control and decontamination procedures
• Supporting and reassuring patients throughout their appointment
• Accurately recording and updating clinical notes
• Working closely with the wider practice team to ensure smooth daily workflow

Assignments are available across Milton Keynes and surrounding towns, including Bletchley, Newport Pagnell, Leighton Buzzard, Buckingham, and Stony Stratford. Most locations are easily accessible by car and public transport, making this a great locum opportunity for Dental Nurses based locally or within the wider Buckinghamshire area.
