Start Date: September 2026

A warm, inclusive, and highly supportive junior school in the London Borough of Brent is looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher to join its Key Stage 2 phase on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT seeking to begin their teaching career within a nurturing school environment that places equal value on academic excellence, pastoral care, and professional development. Opportunities are available across Year 3 to Year 5, with the final year group allocation being flexible and based on the successful candidate’s strengths, interests, and development needs.

The school is built upon strong values of respect, compassion, ambition, and togetherness, creating an environment where children feel inspired, safe, and empowered to succeed. Staff are dedicated to helping pupils grow into confident, resilient, and responsible young people who are encouraged to embrace challenges and celebrate success.

Teaching and learning are at the heart of the school community, with a curriculum that is broad, engaging, and carefully designed to spark curiosity and creativity. The school places a strong emphasis on ensuring all children receive a rich educational experience while also nurturing their emotional, social, and personal development.

For an ECT, this school offers an exceptional foundation to begin a successful teaching career. You will benefit from a structured induction programme, dedicated mentoring, regular coaching, and personalised professional development delivered by experienced leaders who are fully committed to helping new teachers flourish.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds UK QTS or will achieve QTS by September 2026
  • Is excited to teach and inspire pupils across Key Stage 2
  • Brings energy, positivity, and creativity into the classroom
  • Has high aspirations for pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Values teamwork and enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues
  • Is reflective and eager to grow professionally

What the school can offer:

  • A well-established and supportive ECT programme with dedicated mentorship
  • A welcoming and collaborative team environment
  • High-quality CPD and career development opportunities
  • Caring and motivated pupils who enjoy learning
  • A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and professional growth
  • Well-equipped learning spaces and excellent teaching resources
  • Inner London Salary: M1 – M2 (£40,317 – £42,232)

Immediate interview slots are available, and applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as appointments may be made before the closing date.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious ECT to join a caring and forward-thinking school where you will be supported every step of the way as you begin your teaching career.
