Junior Technical Sales Representative in Telford, West Midlands

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Junior Technical Sales Representative to work for a leading company who are located in Telford.

For the successful Junior Technical Sales Representative our client is offering:

• Competitive rate paying £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience (£14.75 - £16.85)
• Temporary to Permanent position
• Days based role - 8:30am-5pm with a 1:30pm finish on Fridays
• Great entry level opportunity with on the job training provided
• Opportunities for progression
• Opportunities to travel as part of the role

The Role - Junior Technical Sales Representative:

• Dealing with inbound Sales enquiries and establishing customer requirements
• Preparing technical quotes / proposals
• Submitting quotes within agreed timescales
• Following up on quotes that have been sent, trying to maximise quotes into orders
• Develop and maintain relationships with current/prospective customers
• Guiding customers on suitable products
• Processing of sales orders / preparation of relevant documents
• Liaise with departments internally ensuring customer orders are fully communicated & understood
• Support with marketing related activities
• Maintain accurate records

What our client is looking for in a Junior Technical Sales Representative:

• Strong communication skills 
• Eager to learn 
• Strong IT skills
• Technical qualification (HNC/HND/NVQ or BTEC) related to a Engineering discipline
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Commercially aware and have a genuine interest in wanting to develop a career in Technical Sales
